- X refers to the amount of meter gained on the attack's startup. For EX Specials and Super moves, this value will be a negative amount, usually -500, -1000, -2000, or -3000, depending on what level super the move is.
- Y refers to the amount of meter Player 1 (the attacker) gains if the attack makes successful contact with the opponent on hit or block.
